Shu Lei Fung/Kongo no Shu (Shu of the Diamond)--His armor is orange, his weapon a three-part staff. Somewhat chubby, his favorite hobby is eating. His family runs a Chinese restaurant in Yokohama; he has an uncle who owns a similar restaurant in New York. His virtue is Gi, "Justice."

Kia: *looks at the name* Kento's basically a Chinese descendant. :P
Kento: Damn right.

Kento of the Hardrock--The warrior of the Earth. Orange Armor; 16 years old. The armor wakens terra-energy from deep within the ground that the zealous young warrior can then direct against his foe. Kento would like nothing better than to put his earth-shaking abilities to the test in an ultimate showdown with Talpa. Over time, however, Kento begins to understand his armor has an even deeper connection to Mother Earth than he first realized. Dressed in blazing orange, symbol of justice and courage, the fire in his warrior's heart never fades. He may be reckless and headstrong at times, but with his Herculean strength and good nature, the other Ronins are glad to have him on their side. Although he can be boastful at times, Kento has performed plenty of noble deeds to back up his words. You can bet that not even a hundred Dynasty soldiers stands a chance when this guy starts to go totally ballistic. When Kento transforms into his mystical armor, he gives the raucous cry, "Armor of Hardrock...Dao Gi!" ("the way of Justice!") To perform his special attack blow, Kento calls on the power of his armor with the phrase "Iron Rock Crusher." He directs this pulverizing force with his triple-jointed battle staff to literally shake his enemies off their feet.

In the series, his character design was little strange, well, actually, he seemed chubby in the series than in the OAVs. In the OAVs, his character design has improved somewhat but he's not that chubby as he was in the series. The voice actor for Kento in Ronin Warriors is Jason Gray-Stanford. The voice actor for Shu in Samurai Troopers is Nishimura Tomohiro. You can look up more information about both of the voice actors on Mrs. Strata's page "The Ronin's Home" and is in my links. Yeah, I've seen too much stuff just to remember them from memory but mostly, I CAN'T! (Unfortunately, Mrs. Strata's page no longer exists... @_@;;;;)

Well, for some of those who were confused with Kento's real last name. It IS Shu not Rei Fuan. Why? Because the Troopers called him Shu (people assumed it was the first name) but it's only because it was easier to say Shu rather than Rei Fuan all the time. ^^;
