Yes, the banner's up, so QUIET.

Bandai/Sunrise is releasing the DVDs in America. (To my knowledge, this WILL be the first time that Ronin Warriors has ever been released on a type of media to be watched at home.)  I have created a mini table with the info that I've gotten/calculated for myself. @_@ And no, there won't be any videotapes because this is a DVD-only release. Sorry.  Ten dvds- four episodes per dvd. (Kind of like the Gundam Wing dvds. Yes, I see the pattern here, Sunrise, don't try to fool Kia Purity. =P)

--Ok, yeah, so I'm working on this section since I want to warn everyone of possible issues with the dvds... :P

DVD # Episode Known issues
1 In between #3 and #4 Upon on trying to play the YST side... it freezes at end of episode 3. This is easily fixed by selecting episode 4 at chapter select screen. I believe the RWs side has this same bug too. Rather odd. I don't believe this bug will show up on rest of the dvds as seeing how the second dvd is fine. (NOTE: This has occurred on PS2's dvd player (the one that was 300 bucks prior to the price drop) and a gateway computer with a 1st generation dvd-rom. The issue does -not- even appear on my PS2's dvd player (the one after the price drop) at all. I'd say it's only related to older versions of dvd players and dvd-roms. Otherwise, it's NOTHING to worry about at all.)
3 The disc itself I wouldn't call this an issue, but I've noticed that it's different from the previous discs. Whereas it said Ronin Warriors on the top, the bottom would play the RW episodes and same with Samurai Troopers... except... this time, it says Ronin Warriors on the top and it plays the Samurai Troopers episode. *sweatdrops* Was this just a techincal goof-up or a change? (Either that or the labels got switched... eh, I can understand.)
6 #22 On my PS2, there was a slight blip from the opening to the episode. It works fine, but I have no idea if this is affected on DVD-ROM. The blip isn't that bad.
8 the dvd itself Well, it doesn't work on some older PS2 and first generation dvd-roms but works fine on newer technology. Not much of a concern as long as you have something that's near brand new instead of something five years old like I do with my first generation dvd-rom :P (although the PS2 was acquired in June... dunno why.) Thank god for a dvd player in the house that my family got for Christmas! :P

--Yet another section of this page brought to you by a doomed Kia Purity who'll TAKE THAT.
I'll work on the section when I get bored and decide to *count* the overused words. Don't worry. I'm insane enough. :)
